Booking & Cancellation Policy
Booking Fees: To secure your appointment, a booking fee is required at the time of booking. This will be deducted from your final bill on the day of your appointment.
- If less than 48 hours’ notice is given to cancel or reschedule, the booking fee will be retained.
- Booking fees are non-refundable, but can be transferred if appropriate notice is given.
Cancellations & No-Shows: We understand things can change, but we kindly ask for a minimum of 48 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or move your appointment.
- If you do not show up to your appointment, your account will be flagged on our system.
- You may be required to pay in full upfront for any future bookings.
- If you need to cancel, please call us directly on 020 8304 3544 so we can offer the slot to another client.
Appointment Reminders & Confirmation
- You will receive a reminder 3 days before your appointment via text or email.
- Clients must confirm if they are attending or not.
- If you need to cancel or make changes, we ask that you call us on 020 8304 3544 rather than replying to automated messages.
Late Arrivals: If you are running late, please give us a call as soon as possible.
- Clients more than 15 minutes late may need to reschedule or receive a shortened service.
- Your booking fee may be forfeited.
Skin Testing Policy
Your safety is our top priority. In line with best practices and industry regulations, we have a strict skin testing policy in place for all colour services.
Who Needs a Skin Test? A skin test is required at least 24 hours before your colour appointment if:
- You are a new client to Mirror Mirror Bexleyheath
- You have never had colour with us before
- It has been 6 months or more since your last colour service with us
- You have had a major change in your medical history (e.g. new medication, allergies, illness, or pregnancy)
- This applies even if you have had colour at other salons without any issues. Every salon uses different products, and your safety is our responsibility.
How It Works
- The test only takes a couple of minutes and must be carried out in salon.
- It must be done at least 24 hours before your appointment.
- Without a valid skin test on file, we will not be able to carry out your colour service, and your booking fee will be forfeited.
