Debbie

My name is Debi, and I’m the Co-Director at Mirror Mirror.

I’ve been a stylist for 45 years, and my journey in hairdressing has been full of amazing experiences. I’ve had the pleasure of teaching hairdressing at college, which allowed me to share my knowledge and passion for the industry with the next generation. Over the years, I’ve worked with incredible clients and seen countless trends come and go — but my love for the craft has always remained strong.

What I love most about being a hairdresser is the chance to talk to people and make a real difference in how they feel. There’s something so powerful about helping someone feel confident and beautiful through their hair.

My inspiration comes from many places — including a surprising one: Lego! I’ve always loved building and problem-solving, and I find that same creative spark in hairdressing. It keeps me thinking differently, finding new approaches, and evolving as a stylist.

My ambition is simple but meaningful: to continue delivering a high standard of hairdressing, inspire those around me, and help people feel confident and happy with how they look.

If I had to describe myself in three words, I’d say kind, warm, and loving.

Something people are often surprised to learn is that I’m a total Lego nerd! My office is full of limited edition sets, and I rotate displays of landmarks like the Eiffel Tower, London Bridge, Taj Mahal, and the Colosseum in my window throughout the year. It’s a fun little quirk that brings me joy and keeps my creativity flowing.

My idea of bliss? Being surrounded by my family. Nothing makes me happier than spending quality time together — it’s where I feel the most at peace.

Morgan

My name is Morgan, and I’m the Director at Mirror Mirror.

Technically, I’ve been a stylist for 12 years — but my journey started much earlier. My mum is a hairdresser and has owned a salon since I was six, so I grew up in that world. I used to go in every day and soak it all up. You could say hairdressing is in my blood!

My experience so far has been amazing. I have so much passion for making women feel beautiful, and I love helping and advising however I can. My head is like a hair thesaurus — full of ideas, techniques, and knowledge I love to share.

What I love most about being a hairdresser is seeing that smile on someone’s face when they feel confident and transformed. There’s nothing like helping someone walk out of the salon feeling their absolute best.

My biggest inspiration has always been my mum. She’s the best hairdresser I know, truly talented. If I can be even 1% as good as her, I’m the happiest person in the world.

My ambition is to grow Mirror Mirror Bexleyheath into one of the top luxury salons in Kent — a place where clients feel genuinely cared for, leave feeling incredible, and our team feels proud to be part of it. I want us to be known for expert colour, exceptional service, and a warm, welcoming experience every time.

If I had to describe myself in three words, I’d say chatty, kind, and caring (though my family and team might say I’m also a bit loud!).

Something that might surprise people is that I have four older brothers — I’m the baby of the family, but definitely the bossiest! I also love travelling, especially when my boyfriend hires a motorbike and we zoom off on spontaneous adventures. It makes me feel free… and slightly terrified!

My idea of bliss? Lying on a float in the pool, sun shining, completely relaxed.

And fun fact — I always wanted to be a hairdresser. I remember my mum once saved up to buy me a Daphne from Scooby Doo doll. I gave her an asymmetrical haircut to match my mum’s… and while Mum said, “That’s really naughty,” she also added, “but a great haircut!”

Georgia

My name is Georgia, and I am a stylist at Mirror Mirror.

I’ve been a stylist for six years, but I’ve worked in the industry since I was 14. I started out doing work experience and completely fell in love with hairdressing. Once I left school, I began my apprenticeship at 16 and got stuck into the world of hair — and I’ve never looked back.

My favourite thing about being a hairdresser is getting creative and creating amazing looks for clients, then seeing them leave the salon with a big smile on their face. I also love meeting incredible people and being there for clients through different journeys in their lives — it’s such a privilege to share those moments with them.

I come from a family of hairdressers. My uncle, who’s been in the industry for over 30 years, is my biggest inspiration. He’s had an amazing career — from working on Gucci fashion shows and adverts to owning his own salon. Ever since I was young, I’ve wanted to follow in his footsteps, and one day, that dream might just become a reality.

My ambition is to have my own salon one day. Watching others run salons gives me a real buzz — I find it so interesting to learn about what goes on behind the scenes and to think about creating my own little hair space where people can relax and feel at home.

I would describe myself as caring, inquisitive, and approachable.

I’ve always loved history — it was my favourite subject at school, and even now I’m constantly reading and researching. Once I get interested in something, I want to learn everything I can about it.

My idea of bliss would be being by the sea. I love the seaside or being on a beach on holiday — it instantly reconnects me and makes me feel mentally refreshed and so happy.

It sounds too good to be true, but I’ve always wanted to be a hairdresser. I’ve had a fascination with hair from a very young age. I was obsessed with dolls and would always make sure mine had the best or the longest hair, because I would sit for hours playing with them. My family always said they knew I’d become a hairdresser — and they were right!
